Departmental action initiated against underperforming and corrupt officials

Bhubaneswar,22/08:In a major administrative shake-up on Friday, the Odisha government began acting tough on underperforming and corrupt officials across Departments. Following orders from the Chief Secretary, all departments have initiated a thorough review of officers with pending disciplinary cases and questionable conduct. Odisha government initiates a crackdown on underperforming and corrupt officials, with suspensions in Boudh district and disciplinary probes across departments led by Chief Secretary Manoj Ahuja. Transport Department has reported six officials, who are under disciplinary probe. The revelations include sexual harassment allegations against an ASO and two others, while two more are involved in criminal cases.
