Garvita OdiaBhubaneswar, 29 Aug 2025: One more conviction Today, i.e. on 29.08.2025, Gourahari Sahu, Former Asst. Engineer( AE), Champua Block, Dist-Keonjhar (Retired), who was charge sheeted by Odisha Vigilance U/s 13(2) r/w 13(1)(d) of PC Act, 1988/409/120-B/34 IPC for misappropriation of Govt. money in connection with an improvement of road work under MGNREG scheme in Champua Block, was convicted by Hon’ble Special Judge, Vigilance, Keonjhar and sentenced to undergo rigorous imprisonment for a period of 2 years and to pay fine. Odisha Vigilance will now move the competent authority for stoppage of pension of Sri Gourahari Sahu, Former Asst. Engineer, Champua Block, Dist-Keonjhar (Retired) following his conviction.
