Bhubaneswar, Sept. 16: Odisha Chief Minister Mr. Mohan Charan Majhi laid the foundation of the Rs. 200 crore SUM Lifesciences, a pharma manufacturing and research unit and subsidiary of Summa Real Media Private Ltd, at the Gothapatna Industrial Estate on the outskirts of the city.The chief minister laid the foundation of 27 different industrial projects including SUM Lifesciences to be established across 12 districts in remote mode at a function organised in the Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology (OUAT) campus here on Monday. SUM Lifesciences Private Limited, when it goes on stream, will provide direct employment to 1280 people. The program was also attended by Mr. Sampad Charan Swain, Minister for Industries, Mr. Manoj Ahuja, state’s Chief Secretary, Ms. Anu Garg, Development Commissioner, Mr. Hemant Sharma, Principal Secretary in the Industries Department, and senior officials.
