Garvita OdiaMayurbhanj, 30/08: Today i.e. on 30.08.2025, Arun Kumar Jena, Former Technical Consultant, DPC, SSA, Mayurbhanj, A/p-Junior Engineer, RWSS Paralakhemundi, At-Sridhar Nagar-1, Po/PS- Paralakhemundi, Dist-Gajapati, who was charge sheeted by Odisha Vigilance in a case U/s 13(2) r/w 13(1)(e) of PC Act, 1988/109 IPC for possessing disproportionate assets (DA), was convicted by Hon’ble Special Judge, Vigilance, Baripada and sentenced to undergo rigorous imprisonment for a period of 2 years and to pay fine of Rs.1,00,000/-. Odisha Vigilance will now move the competent authority for dismissal of Sri Arun Kumar Jena, A/p-Junior Engineer, RWSS, Paralakhemundi, At-Sridhar Nagar-1, Po/PS-Paralakhemundi, Dist-Gajapati from service following his conviction.
