Garvita OdiaKoraput,07/10: Today, a short while ago, Sri Lambodhara Nayak, Asst. Engineer, Kundura Block, Dist-Koraput has been apprehended by Odisha Vigilance while demanding and accepting bribe of Rs 20,000/- from a Contractor towards P.C for clearance of bills related to a road work. The entire tainted bribe money has been recovered from the possession of accused Lambodhara Nayak, A.E and seized. Following the trap, simultaneous searches are going on at the locations of Sri Nayak, A.E from DA angle. In this connection, Koraput Vigilance PS Case No 31/2025, U/s 7PC (Amendment) Act, 2018 has been registered against accused Sri Nayak, A.E. Investigation is in progress. Detailed report follows.
