Nayagarh Jail warder Found hanging inside his Government Quarter in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: A jail warder was found dead under mysterious circumstances inside the government quarters located within the Jharpada Jail campus in Bhubaneswar on Friday.The deceased has been identified as Sarathi Pradhan, who was serving as a warder at Nayagarh Jail. As of now, the reason behind the alleged suicide remains unclear. Police have begun a detailed investigation and are questioning family members and colleagues to determine the circumstances that led to the tragic incident. According to preliminary information, Sarathi Pradhan’s body was discovered hanging inside the government quarters where his family members were residing on the Jharpada Jail campus. The incident came to light after family members and nearby residents noticed the situation and immediately informed the authorities. Soon after receiving the information, police reached the spot and initiated an investigation into the matter.
