STUDENTS OF ALL SOA INSTITUTIONS AWARDED DEGREES

Bhubaneswar, oct.9: More than 4,000 students of nine different institute dxtions of the Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan Deemed to be University (SOA) here were presented their degrees in separate graduation ceremonies held over the last three weeks. The last graduation ceremony of the SOA National Institute of Law (SNIL) was held on Wednesday which was graced by the Vice-Chancellor Prof. Pradipta Kumar Nanda and other senior officials.
The program was also attended by the Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof. Anup Kumar Samantaray, Controller of Examination Prof. Manjula Das, Dean of SNIL Prof. S.A.K. Azad, Dean (Students’ Welfare) Prof. Jyoti Ranjan Das, senior professors and faculty members. Earlier, the graduation ceremonies of the Institute of Agricultural Sciences (IAS), Institute of Medical Sciences and SUM Hospital (IMS & SUM), Institute of Dental Sciences (IDS), Institute of Business and Computer Studies (IBCS), Institute of Technical Education and Research (ITER), School of Hotel Management (SHM), SUM Nursing College (SNC) and School of Pharmaceutical Sciences (SPS) were held separately.
Prof. P.K. Roul, Vice-Chancellor of Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology, attended as chief guest in the graduation ceremony of IAS, while Group Head of Wipro Limited Mr. Thirunavukkarasu Palaniappan, Director, Technology and Transformation, Engineering, AI and Data, Deloitte South Asia, Bhubaneswar, Mr. Vikash Panigrahi, Vice-President, Centre Head, Cognizant, Bhubaneswar Mr. Satish Pradhan, Global Head, Engineering Academy at L and T Technology Services, Dr. P.B. Kotur graced the graduation ceremony of ITER held over two days.
In the graduation ceremony of IBCS and SHM held on a single day, Prof. Chandi Prasad Nanda, Director of Odisha Research Centre and Mr. Ashirbad Praharaj, Cluster General Manager of The Indian Hotels Company Ltd attended as special guests.Dr. Rajalaxmi Mishra, Principal of Government Nursing College, Berhampur, attended as special guest in the graduation ceremony of SNC.
